Two months back the Bandit filed an Interim Application (IA) in the Supreme Court seeking to trim down the powers of Supervisory Oversight Committee appointed by the Supreme Court to keep an eye on him. This committee had stopped him from pulling the money out into phony trusts and projects, and to have it all covered up by some pliable chartered accountant. The IA was also filed in the hope that he could rule as before until the case came up for hearing in the Supreme Court in say 5 years or 10 years from now. However, while considering his application on cutting down the powers of the Oversight Committee, the Judges listed the matter for final hearing and disposal on 22 Aug 2012!

The shell shocked Bandit and his lawyers had not expected this turn of events and protested and tried their best to postpone it, but in vain.

Having fought for 14 years seeking to be legally separated from ISKCON, in absolute megalomania, and wasting crores of Srila Prabhupada’s money in the process, the Bandit suddenly does a vantasi (swallowing his own puke). He swings to the other extreme side in his classic opportunistic style that has become his trademark and declares he now wants to join ISKCON again! The very same society that he claims to be infested with rapists and American Mafia etc., he now wants to rejoin! Today, except for rejoining ISKCON, there is no other escape route left for the Bandit parivar [Mafia family].

With 22 Aug just a few weeks from now, the party having turned sour and suddenly the false euphoria spread by the Bandit parivar that all is well and life is good, turned into just another of the numerous fiascos that were happening too often for the Bandit Business Enterprise [there has been a steady turning of the tide in the other direction since 2006 with the Bandit facing one set back after the other]. As you read this now, the parivaar on the Hill is shamelessly making frantic calls and sending long 12 page emails for compromises to every devotee they know (and ignored until now) in ISKCON. Madhu Pandit’s new spin to his followers is that rejoining ISKCON will be a victory for the Ritvik cause.

But the devotees on the Hill have a new worry. Is Madhu Bandit is making secret deals with ISKCON because he is afraid he will lose again like he did at the High Court? They are afraid that they will all go to jail when ISKCON sues him for criminal breach. The devotees on the Hill have to now consider if the Bandit parivar is getting ready to abandon them to save their own skins. Will they too be abandoned like the 70 plus devotees who were forced to leave? Will they also be criminally charged for having signed forged documents as trustees? (Definitely.) Is the parivar making escape plans while they abandon the devotees on the Hill to face the music alone? A well-known parivar man is known to have said “I have everything fixed with my farm, they can’t touch me if it all comes down in the Supreme Court!” Escape routes (rat lines) are all planned and being readied while the poor devotees on the hill are fed the Ritvik ideology!

The Acid Test

ISKCON is willing to compromise and has agreed to consider dropping the case in the Supreme Court, even allowing the Ritvik ideology on the Hill and in all the other affiliate temples if, and only if, Madhu Pandit walks away from the Hill. ISKCON has made it clear that, considering his history, they do not want to risk having him in charge on the Hill again but have no problems with retaining all other Temple vice-Presidents and devotees as they are now. Only the Bandit and his parivar have to leave.

Madhu Pandit can continue to be a leader and even be president elsewhere. But not on the Hill! And if the Bandit fulfills ISKCON’s requirements the Ritvik philosophy will be allowed in all the temples, even on the Hill as they become part of ISKCON.

Any self-respecting, true blooded Ritvik would have been overjoyed with Ritvik ideology being allowed in ISKCON! But, no! The Bandit won’t have it! He wants to remain President. It is either that or nothing! Haribol! What happen to “Give me Ritvik or give me death?”

What kind of a Ritvik is he? Or should we ask is he a Ritvik at all? Or is this all about property and control? Was Ritvik ideology a mask to cover this up?  He not only wants ISKCON to drop the case, but he wants to be reinstated back as the Temple President and a Bureau member as if nothing had happened for the last 15years! Wow – how shameless can people get?

ISKCON leadership has called his bluff by offering to accept the Ritvik ideology provided the Bandit parivar parts with the absolute control over all the affairs of the Hill. Now that his bluff has been called for the hundredth time, at least now will the herd of sheep people on the Hill stand up and be counted. There are more reliable, longstanding and steady Ritviks and Ritvik sympathizers in the mainstream ISKCON than there are on the Hill!

It is now time for the devotees on Hare Krsna Hill to wake up from the spell of the Bandit. You are all 14 years older and not so gullible any more (we hope). It is time that you stand up and demand that he step down?

There are true Ritviks in ISKCON who are making this compromise happen against all odds. If they have worked to allow the Ritvik ideology to be within ISKCON, why do you need the Bandit and his dynasty’s absolute control over you?

It is clear that the Bandit parivar is only in it for themselves and for retaining absolute control over the finances and wealth being generated by the Hare Krsna Hill group of enterprises (now straddling over many cities and many businesses). And, that the parivar is using the Ritvik philosophy only as a mask.

Wake up Hare Krsna Hill devotees! Your misleaders have already made their moves. It is time you made yours.
