Jul 14, 2011 — BANGALORE, INDIA (SUN) — On May 23rd, 2011 the High Court of Karnataka concluded that the ISKCON Society registered in Bangalore in 1978 is a defunct entity having no legal existence, and by fabricating documents and falsifying accounts, Madhu Pandit dasa and his family members are falsely claiming the ISKCON temple at Bangalore as the property of the defunct society. The ISKCON temple at Bangalore is the property of the ISKCON society registered in Mumbai, and Madhu Pandit dasa is only the President of the Bangalore branch of ISKCON registered in Mumbai. (more…)

We just got to see Madhu Pandit’s talk to Bangalore devotees regarding the 06 June status-quo. It was an eye opener as one gets the shocking realization that he is controlling this group like a cult. There is some confusion (created by whom?) on what was gained at the Supreme Court with the Hill even celebrating a victory being fooled by Madhubandit’s version of it. They even accused Dayaram of fooling the news papers with his version, as if they were as sheep minded as the followers of the Bandit. Therefore, Madhupandit Das and other functionaries in their capacity as President and functionaries of ISKCON Bangalore, as a branch of defendant No. 1 are entitled to continue in accordance with the bye-laws, Rules and Regulations of defendant No. 1. However, it is made clear that their continuance as such shall be subject to the decision taken by ISKCON, Mumbai, in accordance with the bye-laws, Rules and Regulations of defendant No. 1.

Starting at paragraph five (5) where he begins with: “The genesis of this dispute between ISKCON Mumbai and ISKCON Bangalore…” First of all this is an oxymoron since the High Court of Karnataka has ruled that “ISKCON Bangalore” doesn’t exist as a legal entity; more on that later. The real point I want to make is that from here on, Madhu Pandit’s rant gives us the same old worn out slogans, like some bad Communist era newsreel or TV program, “Victory to the proletariat working class that is fighting the Bourgeois Capitalist.” (more…)

In a verdict that puts an end to a decade-old feud, the High Court of Karnataka on Friday ruled that the entire property of Bangalore’s International Society for Krishna Consciousness (Iskcon) belongs to the Iskcon Mumbai.
Hearing a petition by Iskcon Mumbai, the Division Bench comprising Justices Nagamohan Das and Arali Nagraj said that since the administration of Iskcon Bangalore happens from Mumbai, the plaintiff society cannot interfere in the administration of Mumbai. (more…)

On Wednesday September 22, 2010 the arguments before the High Court of Karnataka ended. This means that in approximately one month from now the judgment will be posted.
BANGALORE: KPCC working president DK Shiva Kumar has urged the government to arrest ISKCON, Bangalore president Madhu Pandit Dasa and vice-president Chanchalpathi Dasa and confiscate their property.
At a press conference following Dasa’s accusations earlier in the day on Thursday, Shivakumar rubbished the charges levelled against him by the two.
“Both are cheats, they are selling our poverty abroad and making money. They are land grabbers and own 142 acres of land at Mahadevapura,” he said.

Bengaluru, May 21: The recent findings of the Joint House Committee of Karnataka Legislature constituted to look into the alleged irregularities by the Akshaya Patra Foundation (ISKCON) in running the mid-day meal scheme in Karnataka, has put Iskcon back on the radar. High level sources have told Deccan Chronicle that the committee is all set to propose to the government that it relieves Iskcon from the mid-day meal programme, subsequent to its findings.

Hare Krishna!! Lets not forget the history!! Thanks to Madhava Ghosh Prabhu for addressing this issue.
Madhu Pandit stated below that in 1999 he only wanted a “well structured and controlled debate or discussion on initiation within iskcon”, in his own words.
Well, Krishna fulfilled his desire completely when shortly thereafter on Chakra website an unofficial spontaneous debate on ritivikism was conducted for three months, abiding by proper structured debate rules. On the one side I represented the ISKCON traditional parampara system of initiation with support from many scholarly sannyasis and senior ISKCON devotees and on the other side Adri Dharan and the un-initiated Mr Desai, the bank clerk from UK, represented the ritvik idea. The objective was to see which initiation system was fully supported by guru, sadhu, and sastra. The ritviks, headed by Madhu Pandit, were trying for this debate and so by Krishna’s grace they finally got it. (more…)

I fail to understand what the celebration and euphoria in the bandit’s camp was all about. The battle between the usurpers and the protectors of ISKCON is still very much on and it is just the scene of battle that has changed. So, what were they celebrating? (more…)

Seeing this, the personality of Kali sent his representatives in disguise to pollute the Vaisnava sampradaya. Posing as Vaisnavas, they spread their wicked doctrines, and appeared so intelligent and devoted that only pure devotees could detect their real identity. Most devotees — not only the most neophyte — were enchanted by their tricks. In this way Kali’s agents expertly introduced karma, [editor: famine relief - akshya patra] jnana, and anyabhilasa in the Vaisnava sampradaya and caused suddha-bhakti to vanish from the world.”

The ISKCON Sheshadripuram congregation organised an event at the temple to express appreciation and gratitude to the ISKCON Legal team that has been fighting the bandits for almost a decade. ISKCON Karnataka society, registered in Bangalore (Founder – Acharya Shankhabrit das and the Present Sole Acharya – Sri Sriman Paramahamsa Madhu Pandit das alias Madhusudhan Nair) and not the ISKCON Mumbai society established by His Divine Grace A.
