As you are aware MPD has activated two new criminal cases against you and me. While I am accused in both of them, you are only accused in the second one.

In the first case, which involves a video sting that exposes money laundering by the Akhsaya patra, bribery and kick backs, I am accused of being the conspirator behind the Video sting. In that case we got a hard fought anticipatory bail through the court. The Police were after me for more than three months and they visited our temple several times and also visited my home and threatened my wife too. The application for bail was opposed strongly by the Police and Prosecutor and they brought on record all previous complaints against me including the infamous “Eve teasing” case* just to show me in very bad light to the Magistrate. Obviously all these materials were supplied by Madhu Pandit’s group since they were present in Police Station and in the courts to monitor the progress of the case. Somehow, we managed to get the orders in our favor and obtained anticipatory bail.

In the second case, the charge against you and me is that we have tampered with court records (in the regard to Madhu Pandit’s various law suits he has filed against ISKCON), manipulated court seals and falsely inserted court seals on the balance sheets and thereby falsely claiming that these papers are court records, and are in possession of and circulating such false records to harm the reputation of people.

The Police have been on the look out for me in this case also for the last two months or so. Our lawyers have visited the police and we had filed for an anticipatory bail in this matter also. The hearing is to happen this week. In the meanwhile, MPD knew I would be in the temple during the deity pranpratishta festival and as some of the devotees suspected, the police came here to our temple on the 11th of May; one in plainclothes and one in uniform. An earlier group of informants came and ascertained my presence here and tipped off the police.

As soon as the abhishek was over, the barged in the Pujari room and led me out and told me to follow them to the Police station, I had just no chance or choice to do anything else and I went along with a few devotees. At the Police station, within minutes after I was taken there, MPD’s minions arrived – Kodanaram, Bharatarshabha and one more brahmacari and their auditor/lawyer.

They walked into the office of the sub inspector, and we could see them talking for long time and the police being briefed about what they should charge me with. The Auditor too was involved in the confabulations.

As the Police Inspector had not yet arrived, we were sitting in the waiting area whereas MPD’s men were sitting inside the Inspector’s chamber. This clearly showed the predetermined outcome planned and the relationship they already had. When the Inspector arrived MPD’s men were present while I was being questioned and they were literally shouting at me and they were trying to present various reasons to show why I should not be allowed to go. The Auditor was personally present and he was claiming that the papers we gave out at the Press meet were forged and his signature on the audit reports were forged. He too was demanding action against me. The three of them put up a strong case. I pleaded innocence and explained that I was only supporting Dayaram Das as he could not speak in Kannada and I had no idea about any legal things.

Immediately they countered this and pulled out a DVD of the Press conference to show I was not just a translator. They played out the DVD in the station on their laptops and kept the attack up and urged the Police to take action. They kept saying that I was the main agent, the main nuisance maker and the main spokesman and the real brain behind the scenes.

This back and forth went on from about 3 pm to 9 pm; our lawyer was also present. Even while my statement was being recorded, the police allowed MPD’s men to stay and even asked them to suggest what they wanted in my statement. Towards the end, I lost my cool and shouted at the Police recording my statement and asked him if this was meant to be my statement or MPD’s dictated statement that I would have to sign. The ruckus I created to protest the police attempts to intimidate me, attracted the attention of the Sub Inspector and he came into the room and stayed there till the rest of the statement was recorded. Then the police tried to twist my statements to implicate you as the person guilty of forging, manipulating and tampering with court records. We resisted all these efforts and somehow, miraculously at around 10 PM at the night they let us go. What can I say about the level that Madhu Pandit’s group is going down to in trying to implicate us in some false, bogus cases by sheer money power.

I got a first hand taste of what it means to be subjected to police intimidation and pressures. I really don’t know if talking to him or settling with him is the way to go, given the level of animosity he has towards us and the levels he is stooping down to out of vengeance and envy. I cant understand how some devotees from our side want to share the dias with him and attend programs that he is inviting them to while at the same time he is trying to put one of us in the jail on some completely false and cooked up case. They planned it to perfection, the arrest would make big headlines, disrupt the celebration of the Deity installation, would demoralize the devotees gathered here and would make sure I stayed inside the jail for a minimum of three days.

They were openly discussing about wanting to have you arrested too. We are applying for a bail for you also. I shall keep you informed about the progress.

* Several years ago Varada Krsna had been a hardcore Rtvik and staunch ally of Madhu Pandit. But on deeper contemplation Varada Krsna was convinced that Rtvikism was flawed and left Hare Krsna Hill and stopped being one of MPD’s cadres. Sometime later Varada Krsna came to have darshana of the Deities on HKH, when MPD found out he ordered the security guards to severely beat up Varada Krsna Prabhu who was hospitalized as a result. Realizing that he had acted rashly in having Varada Krsna beaten for no reason except his vengeful mood of destroying anyone he could not control MPD got his pimp/lawyer friend Ranjit Sankar to hire some prostitutes to claim that they had been sexually harassed (Eve teasing) by Varada Krsna Prabhu while visiting the temple and it was for this reason that the security guards beat up Varada Krsna.

Some editorial comments:

As it says in sastra “those whom the gods would destroy they first make crazy.” Here we see a clear example of Madhu Pandit’s “mad dog” mentality. Only a demented demoniac person would try to disturb the installation of Sri-Sri Radha-Krsna deities. Mad dogs should be taken down not negotiated with. I am sure that MPD thinks this was a brilliant tactical move on his part, just as he thought that scandalizing the Karnataka High Court Judge, K L Manjunath in order to force him to recuse himself from the case was also brilliant. It will be interesting to see how this, like the judge debacle, will backfire in MPD’s face. One thing is that anyone who had any sympathy for MPD will now have no reason to be and instead harden their hearts against this mad dog. For the last 2 years or so since the High Court of Karnataka decided against him Madhu Pandit has pretended that he wanted peace, to compromise and have a out of court settlement with ISKCON so that all parties could work in a cooperative spirit, but this black action of attempting to disrupt the installation of Sri-Sri Gandharvika-Giridhari should be a very clear indication that Madhu Pandit is an incorrigible criminal, a gunda in the guise of devotee who should not be given even the slightest bit of mercy and that ISKCON should have him and his minions taken down and punished to the full extent of the law, which in the case of Madhu Pandit and the inner circle (Bhaktilata dd, Chanchalapati, Chamari dd, Jaya Caitanya, Bharatarshabha , etc) would be three counts of ten years to life in prison. ISKCON leaders are urged to push for the maximum punishment.

Anyone in ISKCON who still wants to have an out of court settlement with Madhu Pandit is either a fool or on his payroll.

Nov 12, 2012 — CANADA (SUN) — Over the years, the Ritvik-vada adherents have always made an effort to boldly differentiate themselves from the GBC-run ISKCON. Pointing to the many ways in which ISKCON is compromising Srila Prabhupada’s standards, they have tirelessly preached the notion that bogus guru-tattva philosophy is at the bottom of all the problems, and if ISKCON would just get on board with their Ritvik-vada, everything would come right.

But in fact, as the poisonous influence coming from ISKCON Bangalore spreads, forming little pockets of asiddhantic Ritvikism around the world, we can now see that just the opposite is true: the problems in ISKCON are not being solved by the Ritviks, but rather are being replicated.

Climbing onto the Ritvik platform was apparently seen by Madhu Pandit das and the Bangalore leaders as a move of political expediency, and it did serve to temporarily get them out from under the fist of ISKCON leaders. (Except, of course, for the very costly lawsuit they’ve been saddled with.) But there are other drivers behind the Bangalore Ritvik phenomenon besides just guru-tattva, and two of these are Hindu Culture and Money. These two popular catalysts have been well known in the devotee community for many years.

Nowhere is the proliferation of Hinduism in ISKCON more regularly criticized than here in the Sun. Fortunately, many devotees are moved to write about the manifestation of this blight on Srila Prabhupada’s movement, and thousands of readers appreciate hearing what these writers have to say. And what they say is something we all know very well… money is the honey, and in ISKCON, the Indian community is where the honey comes from.

Dear Devotees of Hare Krsna Movement

Hare Krishna.
You were all attracted to the movement by Srila Prabhupada and his books. You have given up careers and families to serve him and his cause. You all deserve to be worshiped for your devotion and missionary spirit. Srila Prabhupada would have been so proud of you. But for some reason you are now not in his movement called ISKCON. You belong to another movement called “Hare Krishna Movement” An organization that took Prabhupada’s ISKCON to court and publicly derided ISKCON.

Currently ISKCON is offering to this organization a historic and genuinely sincere opportunity to become part of ISKCON again Since this is after another stinging verdict exposes the fraudster and his parivaar, isn’t this a fine gesture on ISKCON’s part? Especially because ISKCON has also allowed your group to practice the ideology you have sought HH Jayataka Swami has sent a very personal appeal to you. We doubt if you have been shown this letter. So here it is please read it. In it you have what you wanted. The Bureau has also decided to agree to allow you all to have an Officiating Acharya system of initiation in your temples. It is non- different from the Ritvik system and is based on the 28th May conversation.

To put it bluntly, you have your victory despite having lost the case several times.

Now what is the need to continue the fight at the expense of losing ISKCON’s name in public? Why all this waste of money in court cases & lawyer fees? Who knows how much more is being siphoned off by Ranjit Shanker and other fixers in the pretext of fixing the judgments.

Why be separate from the thousands of devotees in ISKCON? Come back and take your rightful place as members and leaders of ISKCON. Haven’t you seen the Ananda Tirthas and Varada Krsnas playing their parts as respected leaders?

Try urging your leaders to come back home – back to ISKCON. But it may not work because what the Bandit wants is not what you want.

We acknowledge Madhu Pandit Das as your leader and that you were under his grip as younger devotees. We have known him before you saw him. He and his wife were always like this – control freaks. This lack of maturity is also clear in their ruthless hounding and irrational pursuits of personal agenda. They have got it all wrong on the philosophy, the legal matters, morals, ethics, etc. several times and seems like these days Madhu has lost his magic touch.

The carefully created, made to order aura around MPD as if he were some demigod who built this temple all by himself is also crumbling. By the way, this pervading idea that he built the temple is utter non-sense.

Look at the way they treat Chanchalapati Das who trembles in fear in front of them. He, poor fellow was the one who got the land from the government using ISKCON’s name and fame. The temple construction collection scheme of Darmathikari, Dharma pathi , etc was conceived by Varada Krsna Dasa. Varada Krsna and Citranga were a team that collected over 15 crores before and during the temple construction. Akshayaparta and its sleek kitchens are the brain child of Citranga Das too. [He too is being sidelined.]

But in all the above cases MPD shamelessly takes all the credit as if he were some super duper Messiah or specially anointed one. The design of the temple was by Jagat Candra Das, a devotee designer who MPD had known from IIT Mumbai. MPD claims to have done everything himself .

He claims to have got the land having convinced ministers. He claims to have designed the temple and Kitchens and the Akshayapatra scheme. He claims to be a management guru with the schemes that collected so much money for temple construction. He very definitely pulled off this one man show stunt for a while.

To his credit however it can be said that he did the project management of the temple construction. But without the land, the design, the collection and the several devotees who had joined in, he could not have built anything!

Just now nobody is falling for this shallow, selfish and shameless self-promotion Madhu Bandit is indulging in. Nobody believes him anymore and the only person who takes his propaganda seriously is he himself. [The Bandit has built a personal narcissistic website where he can bask in his own glories and satisfy his megalomania.]

Now that all of you have helped Madhu Pandit build a great amusement/exhibition company and real estate company that also takes up large cooking contracts, so what next? Is that all what life is all about?

Wake up, the new ISKCON is not what Madhu wants you to believe. Read the letter from H H Jayapataka Swami addressed to you carefully, talk to Maharaj and discuss with him and see for yourself. The new ISKCON is offering you all that you wanted on the guru issue and offering you more and much more than what Madhu will ever let you have. Talk to Maharaj and then see for yourself.

So, all it takes is to give up sucking on the lollipops and candies that Bandit is feeding you. Here is a simple test – ask him the same question you ask Maharaj and see for yourself whose answers are closer to what Srila Prabhupada wanted. Don’t get confused by the irrational insistence on some terminologies. See with a cool mind and a gentle heart if you are getting what you have strived for all these years.

Forget about him, he is history. Let him fade out and don’t artificially resuscitate him, for heaven’s sake. Your real life as a devotee is about to begin now once he is gone from the Hill and from your memory too.

Or, talk to Dayaram Das and ask him and the Bandit the same questions on any topic of concern in ISKCON or about the dispute. See for yourself whose answers are more honest, dependable and truthful and who seems to be closer to Srila Prabhupada. We, all x-Bangaloreans, have done this test and which is why we are with ISKCON and not with a Bandit parivaar. Or, talk to Bhanu Maharaj for any philosophical clarifications on any aspect of the guru issue and check his answers with those you get from the Bandit. Please take this test.

Or, talk to Jagat Chandra or to Bhima Prabhu or to Jaso Prabhu….For all of you, a new life is just a call away and don’t worry, complete confidentiality is guaranteed. The Bandit has killed your right to a honest, peaceful spiritual life and if he knows you are looking for the truth, he may even kill you.

[This text was received after ISKCON closed the door on compromise because Madhu Pandit rejected ISKCON’s offer now you will be at the mercy of the courts. However this doesn’t mean that as a private individual that you cannot make peace with ISKCON because you can not count on Madhu Pandit to bring you peace he can only bring you to prison.]

We managed to get this letter (written on or about August 25, 2012) that His Holiness Jayapataka Swami had written to you all. It was given to Madhu Pandit Dasa. We hear that none of you were shown this letter. So here it is:

My dear Madhu Pandit Das and group members,

Please accept my best wishes. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

I know that if we discuss philosophy then you may have lots of things to say and I may also have many different things to say. In this letter, I am just trying to go beyond these philosophical disagreements to seek a way in which we could work to integrate you back to ISKCON. So please just consider this proposal calmly although your first knee jerk reaction maybe that my presentation in this letter is not what you want. Please deliberate and consider what would be more pleasing to Srila Prabhupada.

There is definitely agreement between both you and me and the GBC that Srila Prabhupada holds the most prominent/pre-eminent position in every ISKCON devotee’s life since he is our Founder-Acarya. Let us use this common and most essential understanding to forge unity. I remember that you were very concerned that you wanted a direct relationship with Srila Prabhupada and if somehow that can be obtained by maximizing your shelter of Srila Prabhupada as your primary spiritual authority and minimizing the role of the diksha guru, that could be something that could be worked with immediately. A physically living person that doesn’t really have a role more than the fact that he is imparting the initiation or mantra as diksa guru or mantra guru but you really take shelter in Srila Prabhupada as your primary spiritual authority and as ISKCON’s Founder-Acarya. Somehow in this way if you adjust then there is no reason that you cannot be a part of ISKCON. Of course as I said, philosophically you may have others things to say but practically you can achieve so much and I am sure that your influence in ISKCON would be a positive one if you accept these guidelines.

If you want establish Srila Prabhupada’s position as the ultimate spiritual authority in ISKCON and take maximum shelter of him, that is very similar to the system of Bhagavat parampara presented by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur. But if you say that Srila Prabhupada is your diksa guru although he is not physically present then this a big obstacle in finding a solution. You are asking the Bureau to stand against a world wide movement and against the GBC which is a difficult thing. You are saying that you will give the properties to the Bureau but asking what is the safe guard? I am looking a step further that Srila Prabhupada wanted Unity in Diversity. Srila Prabhupada told the GBC that this Unity in Diversity should be the first agenda in their list. There is however a limit. The ISKCON GBC obviously has to stay with the tradition of the Guru Parampara, Sastra and Sadhu. At this point, the possibility of Srila Prabhupada giving initiations after his departure may not be something that the GBC is considering but as I said this is not at all an obstacle for you to have a direct relationship with Srila Prabhupada as your primary spiritual authority, as ISKCON’s Founder-Acarya. You can call yourselves Prabhupadanugas or whatever you want. You can really show how to present yourselves, how to surrender to Prabhupada and so on. You could worship Prabhupada, and follow Srila Prabhupada, and that would be very inspiring to have somebody completely sold out to Srila Prabhupada. Maybe some people want a diksa guru in a regular sense and to say that is wrong is not approved by Prabhupada either. To say that someone wants to take maximum shelter of Srila Prabhupada as their primary spiritual authority, as ISKCON’s Founder-Acarya or as the pre-eminent Siksha Guru and they want to minimize the role of the Diksa guru as monitor guru or the like, that is also not wrong. In this way by accommodating both these scenarios simultaneously we can achieve Unity in Diversity. Of course if you want to discuss your points further, the GBC may be willing to send a person or a team of persons to discuss with you,maybe even non-guru members of GBC, but as you know,they probably won’t be convinced and you wont be convinced either.

The bureau has already offered in the mediation that whatever your beliefs are, no one will be penalized or persecuted. So, in view of all this the proposal that I have presented in this letter would allow you to be a part of ISKCON in a full sense and not just namesake. This would be akin to the situation within the catholic church where there are certain orders, such as the Benedictine, Franciscans, Cistercian (Trappist), Opus de, etc., similarly you could be one type of Prabhupadanugas in ISKCON who take more shelter of Srila Prabhupada than anyone else. So let this be your vaisistya or specialty.

There is a GBC resolution that says that one can be a member of ISKCON without accepting a Diksha Guru. But this GBC resolution is not comprehensive or all encompassing because it does not address questions such as how to go on the altar, etc., So the present proposal covers all these different aspects.

I don’t really know what more to say. This is just an attempt to bring peace between us.

I have proposed something similar to the bureau and they have accepted it. So there will be no problem from the bureau side. Since the GBC has accepted Srila Prabhupada as founder acharya, pre-eminent Siksha Guru and primary spiritual authority and is only against portraying Srila Prabhupada as Diksha Guru of disciples initiated after his departure there should not be any problem from them either.

Through this adjustment you can achieve all your spiritual objectives.

The High Court on Friday [August 31, 2012] refused to expunge certain observations on the conduct of the office-bearers and their relatives connected to ISKCON, Bangalore, in its May 23, 2011 verdict.

A Division Bench comprising Justice H.N. Nagmohandas and Justice A.S. Bopanna dismissed the applications, praying for expunging the remarks.

Madhu Pandit Das, who had claimed to be the head of ISKCON, Bangalore, his wife, Bhakti Lata Devi Dasi, his co-brother Chanchalapathi Das, and others had filed the applications. The applicants had claimed that they were not heard in their personal capacity before the remarks on their conduct were made in the verdict.

The remarks and observations, which were made after going through documents/evidence on record, are integral part of the verdict and it can not be expunged, the Bench said.

While declaring that ISKCON, Bangalore, is a branch of ISKCON, Mumbai, the High Court in its May 23 verdict had declared that these applicants had cooked up the reports specifying names of these persons as office-bearers and had filed them before the Registrar of Society.

The court also dismissed the claim of ISKCON, Bangalore, represented by Madhu Pandit Das, that it was independent of ISKCON, Mumbai.

After challenging this verdict before the Supreme Court, where the matter is pending, these applications were filed seeking expunging of the remarks.

Today we have more bad news for Madhu Pandit Dasa as well as some brief commentary by me at the end.

First the news; the following email from the Legal Office showed up in my inbox today telling of yet another in a long string of setbacks for Madhu Pandit:

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Today the Division Bench of the High Court of Karnataka passed an order dismissing applications filed by Madhu Pandit Dasa (MPD), Bhakti Lata devi dasi (MPD’s wife), Chameri devi dasi (MPD’s wife’s sister) and Chanchala Pati Dasa (MPD’s brother-in-law) praying that the High Court expunge remarks made against them about fraud, fabrication of documents, manipulation of accounts, etc. in the judgment dated 23 May, 2011 passed in Regular First Appeal (RFA) 421 of 2009 by the Division Bench of the High Court (Justice Nag Mohan Das and Justice Arali Nagaraja).

Brief background:

1. On 23rd May, 2011, Division Bench (two Judges – Justice Nag Mohan Das and Justice Arali Nagaraja) of the High Court of Karnataka passed judgment (in RFA 421 of 2009) holding that ISKCON reg. at Mumbai, in 1971, is the owner of ISKCON Temple at Hare Krishna Hill and the ISKCON Society registered at Bangalore, in 1978, is a defunct entity and is falsely and fraudulently claiming the Temple at Hare Krishna Hill as its properties. 2. The whole judgment dated 23 May 2011 was about 80 pages and while giving its finding on various issues many [true but] uncharitable remarks were passed against MPD i.e. fraud, fabrication of documents, manipulation of accounts, fraudulently trying to swallow the Temple properties, etc.

3.In the same judgment [true but] uncharitable remarks were also made against MPD’ wife, wife’s sister and Chanchalapati Das of creating ante dated documents etc.

4. In the above RFA 421 of 2009 MPD, his wife, wife’s sister and Chanchalapati Das (MPD’s brother in law) were not parties. The only party (plaintiff) was ISKCON Society registered at Bangalore in 1978. This Bangalore society filed Special Leave Petition (SLP), which is pending disposal in the Supreme Court.

5. But MPD in his personal capacity filed SLP praying that Supreme Court expunge remarks made against him from the above judgment dated 23rd May, 2011 of the High Court of Karnataka.

6.The Supreme Court dismissed this SLP filed by MPD but at the request of MPD’s lawyer gave MPD liberty to approach the High Court of Karnataka with a prayer to expunge those remarks from the judgment dated 23 May, 2011.

7. MPD, his wife, his wife’s sister and Chanchalapti (MPD’s brother- in-law) filed separate applications (totally 4) praying that those remarks of fraud, fabrication of documents, etc. against them be expunged from the judgment dated 23 May, 2011. They contended that these remarks are unnecessary for disposal of the RFA 421/2009 and they were not give opportunity to be heard before passing of the judgment dated 23 May, 2011.

8. Matter was heard at length in July 2012 and was reserved for order.

9. And today (August 31, 20102) the Division Bench of the High Court (Justice Nag Mohan Das and Justice Bopanna) dismissed all the four applications.

Now for some brief editorial commentary and opinions. As noted at the beginning this is yet another in an ever lengthening string of setbacks for Madhu Pandit Dasa and his family business (Bhakti Lata dd, Chanchalapati Dasa, and Chameri dd). How in his right mind did he think that the High Court of Karnataka was going to reverse itself on this matter? (Of course “right mind” and Madhu Pandit is an oxymoron.)

His explanation was that he was not given an opportunity to be heard. This is pure tripe. We commented on this at length in a previous editorial but will reiterate for the edification of our gentle readers:

Then in the third paragraph from the bottom, Madhu Pandit states:

“We are very confident that the unsubstantiated bland and vague allegations of fraud made in the recent High Court judgment against me will also proved to be false in the Supreme Court, when I am heard. As a fundamental right enshrined in the Constitution of India, enjoyed by every citizen of this country, I, as an individual, will be challenging through a Petition before the Supreme Court how such findings could be made against me in person, when I was never a party to the suit and conclusions were made about me without hearing me. (The Bangalore Society was the party and not me.)“

Why is he so confidant? Has he already purchased the Supreme Court? Because that is the only way he would be able to win there. If an honest panel of judges hears the case, then he is done for. As we have already seen, honesty and Madhu Pandit dasa is an oxymoron. When the Chief Justice of Karnataka appointed Justice Manjunath, an intelligent and honest judge, to hear the case in the High Court, Madhu Pandit did everything in his power to have him removed from hearing the case. Madhu Pandit makes the disingenuous claim that he is not a party to the suit, but rather the Bangalore Society is. But a few paragraphs earlier Madhu Pandit tells us that he is the President of the temple and its spiritual leader. And of course, in the documents of the bogus society he is the president. But he still claims he is not party to the suit. Now, this may convince the sheep on HKH, but it will not convince anyone with an IQ above 60, what to speak of the courts. It is like saying “it was the stick that killed the cow, not me who was holding the stick.”

And Madhu Pandit dasa again shows his shamelessness when he states “and conclusions were made about me without hearing me. ” Madhu Pandit had every opportunity to take the stand as a witness and was even listed to do so. But when every witness before him was caught in a network of lies and contradictions and shot down in flames he didn’t want to suffer the same fate, though the ISKCON legal team was praying that he would take the stand. The High Court of Karnataka noted Madhu Pandit’s absence from the witness box as a fatal omission, noting that the reason Madhu Pandit didn’t testify was that the evidence would go against Madhu Pandit.

46. … Though the plaintiff* society mentioned the name of Madhupandit [sic] Das in its list of witnesses filed before the Trial Court, he was not examined. Thus the plaintiff withheld the best evidence with an intention: that if he is examined, his evidence would go against the plaintiff. Non-examination of this important witness Madhupandit Das is fatal to the case of the plaintiff. The Trial Court, without considering these admissions on record committed an illegality in holding that no adverse inference can be drawn against the plaintiff. …

We repeat, Madhu Pandit, his family business associates and other co-conspirators have suffered yet another defeat but unfortunately for them the clock has run out and the window of opportunity that ISKCON once offered is now closed to them. You all have Madhu Pandit to blame for that; he would not give up what was dearest to his heart, power, position and control on Hare Krsna Hill. You can all look forward to a long stay at Tihar ashram by the time this is over because of Madhu Pandit.

You are just separated by time before the inevitable takes place and Madhu Pandit’s march to oblivion will be complete. It seems that Lord Krsna is not finishing him off in one fell swoop but rather seems to be using the “death by a thousand cuts” method that is much longer and painful. It must be agonizing for someone with a colossal false ego like Madhu Pandit, who basked in all the praise and public recognition that he formerly had to now be (rightly) labeled as a fraudster. “For those who have been honored dishonor is worse than death.” He is a fraudster on both material and spiritual level for what devotee behaves in such criminal fashion, hence he has sunk to the level of just posing as a devotee.

Aug 27, 2012 — BYDGOSZCZ, POLAND (SUN) — My name is Bhakta Jarek from Poland. We do not have Ritviks here (at least active ones), however I was myself inflicted with this idea, and all the writings of Rocana Prabhu helped me very much to defeat this weakness of my mind. The book entitled Defeat of Ritvik-vada by H.G. Rocana das Prabhu is so important at a time when a chain of historical events and deviations is impacting the worldwide post-1977 Krishna Consciousness Movement. Some deviations are strongly schismatic in nature and form, such as the Ritvik-vada dogma, which has seriously split the remnants of the once strong and fully transcendental divine ashram of the Vaishnava Sampradaya Acharya and ISKCON Founder, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada and His faithful followers, sons and daughters.

Defeat of Ritvik-vada’s analysis of the alleged ‘Holy Book’ of the Ritviks, Krishnakant’s The Final Order, is in fact devastating to the idea of “henceforward” posthumous initiation via ritvik priest in the direct name of the departed Acharya. Making it short and vivid, Rocana prabhu clearly proved that at the core of Krishnakant’s Final Order thesis are self -motivated lies and concoctions. But what makes it more interesting is that very much similar arguments from the said book also apply to the so-called “ISKCON guru system”.

Historically seeing the misinterpretation of the famous 28 May Conversation enriched with frivolous conclusions from the July 9th Letter breeds two deviant systems, which unfortunately will probably continue their disturbing existence for a very long period of time. First was the Zonal Acharya conspiracy — the very root of the later “ISKCON guru system — and later the Ritvik-vada deviation.

So, the Defeat of Ritvik-vada book should be read by all serious preachers and well-wishers of the Hare Krishna Movement. But what I do observe to my surprise, through multifarious Hare Krishna websites, is that there is almost (except the very Sampradaya Sun) no response at all to DOR. This shows that in fact, the number of the real and seriously aspiring devotees in the line of disciple succession from Srila Prabhupada is quite limited in number. I do fear that Rocana Prabhu’s book may be rejected by both the two cults which, although so different, have in fact so much in common. The good thing is that this kind of reaction shows that the thesis of Rocana Prabhu is hitting the target right in the middle.

We certainly can’t stop the wheel of samsara of the whole world on our own, but Srila Prabhupada may change the hearts of the innocent faithful and inquisitive, and in the association of His bona fide disciples, their/our participation in the 10,000 year-long Golden Era of Lord Gauranga may go on, despite the devastating hurricanes on the ocean of unlimited sorrows and deceptions of the age of Kali.

The second is the “lawyer letter” from a Mr. Ramaswami Natarajan which as is typical in such cases is making all kinds of threats that will be impossible to fulfill. Just consider that major multinational corporations and several governments (USA, Sweden) have tried unsuccessfully to shut down The Pirates Bay  and of course several world governments especially the USA are trying to shut down Wikileaks but all to no avail. If such powerful governmental forces can not shut down these two websites it will take a lot more than a lawyer letter to shut us down. Shutting down a website just because you don’t like the fact that they are telling the truth about you is not justification. If it were that easy then no newspaper would ever publish anything about the activity of criminals or the Mafia because obviously these entities do not like the adverse publicity.

We set up these website because we wanted to have a voice to speak the truth about the multifarious wrong doings of Madhu Pandit Dasa and there is no way on Earth save and except by killing us that we will be stopped. And since we firmly believe that Madhu Pandit would not hesitate to have us killed we have taken precautions to hide our identities. This is just the first of many roadblocks that Madhu Pandit will run into leading to nowhere. The Internet is a very big place. (-:

This case is also a sad example of the mentality of some lawyers, for money they will do anything, even promote the interest of known fraudsters; note that I didn’t say “convicted criminals” but that is just a matter of time. In his letter Mr. Ramaswami Natarajan says that these websites provide false information but just the opposite is true and in fact we go to great lengths to document all evidence especially on www.ISKCON-BDA.org and we request Mr. Ramaswami Natarajan to read it a bit more carefully. Have you in fact read them? The burden of proof is on you to prove that what we are saying is not true. We will remove anything that can be proved to be false.

Do you, Mr. Ramaswami Natarajan, really need money so badly that you will aid a person whom the High Court of Karnataka found to be a fraudster to continue in their fraud? Why in their right mind would any court in any jurisdiction be inclined to shut down websites that are telling the truth and providing all documentation? So Mr. Ramaswami Natarajan, I don’t know what you promised Madhu Pandit you would do for the money he is paying you but one thing is for sure you will not be able to shut us down.

Madhu Pandit had to hire an out of state attorney because any attorney worth his salt in Karnataka is aware of the facts and knows that what is found on these sites are true and it would make them look bad to support a fraud. Since you are from Chennai and not from Bangalore then we will give you the benefit of the doubt that you are an honorable man and was not aware of Madhu Pandit’s dirty reputation so please carefully read www.ISKCON-BDA.org and especially the findings of the High Court of Karnataka and then decide if you want to have your good reputation dirtied by   association with the likes of Madhu Pandit Dasa. Lawyers like you should serve and protect the innocent not hide the crimes of the guilty.

We understand that as a web host service provider you may not know the extent of wrong doing indulged in by the persons who have taken web space from you. We therefore demand that

a. You immediately deactivate these three websites hosted with you
and

b. Provide accurate and truthful information about the persons who have taken the web space from you and who have paid for hosting. If they have used Paypal or other third party payment processors, you are hereby demanded to provide the transaction details.

We hope you would co-operate with us and immediately deactivate the websites. We would understand that you refuse to co-operate and participate in the commission of the criminal offences [sic] against my client if you do not deactivate these websites on or before 22nd August 2012 12 Noon GMT. [The date of the Supreme Court hearing in Delhi. A coincidence?]

We don’t know how the Bandit thinks suing the Sampradaya Sun will have any effect what so ever on this site or www.ISKCON-BDA.org. Even if he is successful in shutting down the Sampradaya Sun which seems very doubtful (if this rumor is even true) then it will have zero impact on us. In fact back in January 2009 after we sent a few articles to Sampradaya Sun, the editor, Rocana dasa, told us he would no longer publish anything more that we sent him because he felt we were using his publication for our “strategic objectives.” He didn’t like that and wrote a short editorial wherein he mentions “you will be hearing from them no more.” The meaning was that he told he us via email that he would no longer publish any of our material again.

If this is true that Madhu Pandit is trying to shut us down again via this convoluted strategy then it is just another attempt by him to silence any dissenting voices so that he can carry on his crimes on innocent people. In his delusional world everybody must kowtow to him as yes men, there can be no other opinion. But when he is committing so many crimes against Krsna, Srila Prabhupada and the whole guru parampara, what to speak of the law of the land how can we keep silent.

His attempts will never amount to anything. The last time over a year ago (May 2011) he reported us to the Bangalore Cyber police and absolutely nothing happened the proof of which can be seen by the fact that you are reading this. It would be interesting to find out the reasons why the Cyber police have done nothing. I would suspect that because as Mr. Tumkur’s legal team verified we only publish the truth. In any case knowing Madhu Pandit’s cruel and ruthless nature and the vicious way he deals with whistle blowers we have taken steps to avoid falling into the grips of his “tender mercies” that is why we say this is just another example of his impotent rage, impotent because it will accomplish nothing.

This is just another of his “brilliant” plans that like so many others, have backfired on him. It will be interesting to see just exactly how it blows up in his face like the Judge Manjunath debacle. In fact this whole scheme seems so ridiculous that we cannot imagine that even Madhu Pandit is so stupid as to try something like this. It seems so far fetched that we are inclined to think that either it is just a false rumor or at most the Bandit’s wife told him to blow hot air at his supporters to give them some encouragement in the face of so many recent set backs with more to come. Aug 02, 2012 — USA (SUN) — When entering ritvik into the search engine at www.prabhupadabooks.com, only one result surfaces, and that is the famous appointment letter of July 9th, 1977. Enter it spelled rtvik and a few dozen technical Bhagavatam references appear, mostly which define the word as “a priest”. One may assume that with only a comparatively few hits, the ritvik (or rtvik or rittik) debate constitutes much ado about nothing. But it is plainly more than a tempest in a teapot, because thousands of disciples have left the shelter of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness over this very issue. Not only that, but major court battles are now being waged by warring camps over temple properties worth vast fortunes. In many ways the integrity of a bona fide movement that teaches the pure essence of religion for the salvation of the world is at stake over the issue of ritvikism.

In essence, those devotees who adhere to the apasampradayic ritvik philosophy that has mushroomed since ISKCON’s Founder-Acharya drew his earthly lila to a close only three months after that letter was written, insist that it gave an entirely new direction to not only ISKCON but to the entire sampradaya. They claim that Shrila Prabhupada changed forever the entire course of the very chain of disciplic succession to which His Divine Grace had adhered since his own initiation into Gaudiya Vaishnava Dharma.

Defeating Ritvik-vada (at least, the abridged version I’ve just finished reading) shows that the current acarya of the Brahma-Madhva-Gaudiya sampradaya accepted the post of leader of the sampradaya by the grace of the Supreme Lord and the blessings of his spirital master. And that he did so by never changing the process of disciplic succession, but remainng steadfast to its essential timeless values. In the well-crafted and exhaustively detailed DOR, we find the false notions including the speculative ideas proclaimed in the current Bible of Ritvikism, The Final Order, capably put to rest by Rocan dasa, a leading preacher-disciple of Shrila Prabhupada.

This book repeats the order and siddhanta of Shrila Prabhupada, who desired that each of his disciples follow in his footsteps and grow to become spiritual masters. That His Divine Grace desired that his fortunate initiates take on the responsibilities of extending the sampradaya is encapsulated in these words from a lecture delivered by His Divine Grace on April 10th, 1969 in New York:

“So every one of us, those who have come to this Krsna consciousness movement, are expected to preach in the future and to become a spiritual master also in the future. But first of all you must spiritualize yourself; otherwise it is useless. So krsna-sakti vina nahe. Without… Just like without being red hot, you cannot burn any other thing. Similarly, without being fully spiritualized, you cannot make others spiritualized. Therefore we have to follow the parampara system. The disciplic succession, as we get the knowledge, as we get the power, as we get the instruction, so we have to follow. That will help me to spiritualize myself. And when you are spiritualized… You’ll have to wait for that time. Then, wherever you will preach, the result will be there.

Readers will find that it is not within the scope of Defeat of Ritvik-vada to defend the activities of the eleven who were named as rittik/ritvik representatives of the then-manifest acarya. Their foolish activities of overstepping their bounds and declaring themselves as full blown successor acaryas almost to a man, only weeks following the sad disappearance of the pure devotee has only resulted in great pain and suffering, not only for each one of them, but for the Society as a whole. Rather than defending their premature ascenscion to the Vyasa Asan and their artificial assumption of the symbols of a paramhamsa, this book, Defeat of Ritvik-vada, takes a philosophical approach towards establishing how the sampradaya should be extended as per the eternal will of our illustrious Spiritual Master. While establishing the position of sampradaya siddhanta, Sriman Rocana dasa Prabhu roundly smashes the false and flimsy logic presented in The Final Order. There has been much confusion caused by the mental speculation of parties on both sides of the fence, and this book is an attempt to clear the air of misconceptions and to establish the actual desire of Shrila Prabhupada for the continued expansion of Krishna consciousness throughout the world. While the abridged version accomplishes this handily, I can only assume that the full-length version does the same, in maha fashion.
